Business & Agricultural Experience

As the owner and operator of The Ree Ranch, Sabrina brings firsthand experience in agriculture, entrepreneurship and small-business management.

Operating a rural farm has given her practical experience with livestock, agricultural responsibilities, business administration and the day-to-day realities of rural life. She also has experience in bookkeeping and the trucking and transportation industry through her involvement with a family-operated trucking business.

These experiences have given Sabrina a firsthand understanding of the opportunities and challenges faced by farmers, rural families, and small-business owners.

Community Involvement

Sabrina believes community involvement is essential to building strong communities.

She volunteers as an announcer at the Murillo Fall Fair, helping celebrate the area’s agricultural heritage and supporting an event that brings families, farmers, and residents together.

Through her professional work, volunteer activities, and business experience, Sabrina has developed lasting connections with people throughout Oliver, Paipoonge, and Northwestern Ontario.

Outside of work and community activities, Sabrina enjoys spending time with her family, caring for the animals on her farm, horseback riding, and sailing. Her love of the outdoors has taken her throughout the countryside and onto the waters of the Great Lakes, including Lake Superior.

As a mother, Sabrina understands the importance of creating communities where families can build their lives and where future generations have opportunities to succeed.

Public Service Experience

Sabrina’s commitment to public service has included both municipal and federal politics.

In 2022, she ran for a seat on Oliver Paipoonge Municipal Council. In 2025, she expanded that experience by running as a federal candidate in the Thunder Bay—Rainy River riding.

During the federal campaign, Sabrina travelled throughout the riding, meeting residents, families, young people, business owners and community members from diverse backgrounds.

Those conversations allowed her to hear firsthand about the issues and opportunities affecting communities across Northwestern Ontario.

Her experiences at both the municipal and federal levels have strengthened her understanding of public service and reinforced the importance of listening to residents and engaging with the community.

I believe strong communities are built through collaboration, open communication, and a shared commitment to the people who call them home.

Oliver Paipoonge is a unique municipality with a rich agricultural heritage, hardworking families, local businesses, and residents who contribute to the character of our community.

My vision is to help our municipality grow while preserving the rural character, agricultural traditions, and community values that make Oliver Paipoonge special.

I believe residents should have opportunities to participate in their community and access clear, understandable information about decisions that affect them.

Our municipality is strongest when residents, businesses, volunteers, farmers, and community organizations have opportunities to share their knowledge, ideas, and experience.

By working together, we can build on what makes Oliver Paipoonge special while creating opportunities for both current residents and future generations.
